Harpo`s Restaurant Bar in Kansas City

Fun place to stop by and have a drink, or watch sports. Plenty of tv's and there's a lot of seating, 2 floors actually. Bartenders have been nice and I've never had any issues at the place. I'd recommend stopping in!

I had a burger and side salad, both delicious, during the Westport Art festival.

We went with a large party for my husband’s birthday. I worked in the industry so I expect there will be some challenges. However, the food left something to be desired for the price point, we rarely saw our server and honestly it was mildly embarrassing given the occasion and having out of town guests.

I ordered the stadium nachos I wish the ingredients were spread out a little more. My chips were kinda soggy when I got it but overall was good. I have awesome burgers here the staff is always very nice.

Consistently great for lunch. I love the Pork Tenderloin Sandwich and they truly have the best tater tots in the state.

Extremely crowded with bros on weekends. Not a lot to recommend when there were better options in Westport for a drink

I was honestly surprised by how good my burger was. It looks like just a bro-y sports bar, and it is, but the food was amazing. Even though I ordered my burger medium rare and it came out cooked through, it was still so juicy and tender I didn't care. I'd put it up on the same level as Green Room and the Flea Market. The service was a little slow but we went on a busy night so that's understandable.

Superbowl Sunday is a busy day. They had an extremely limited menu due to this, whole reason I went there was for the toasted ravs and I couldn't get them. However the burger I did get was delicious. The fries and tots were cold but our server was kind enough to have some fresh fries and tots made. Overall was ignored for those patrons who were there drinking alcohol and watching the super bowl but will not let that deter me from coming again. Hopefully first impressions aren't everything.

Sat upstairs because downstairs was crowded and loud. After about 35 minutes, I had to ask a man downstairs if i could could have some menus and while I was still speaking, I was told rudely "i didn't know anyone was up there, just go back up there and we'll get to you". Tried to order the pretzel sticks and cheese and was told they were discontinued. Ordered a chicken cesar salad and the lettuce was barely green. Honestly, had the man downstairs not been rude when I asked for menus, I could excused the rest, but my entire experience was downhill from there and I believe this could be an opportunity to learn and grow. My server was extremely friendly but that is only 10% of the job. I've been a manager in food service and I am no stranger to adequate customer service.

Great atmosphere and great service.

Lots of room to walk around and it is structurally beautiful. More interesting environment than the average.

The server was very friendly however when they brought my wine there was something floating in it. When I approached the bar to ask for a new glass, the bartender seemed annoyed.

$5 - $7 beers but they're pretty big. I think 24oz. 2 bars and the patio is quite large with it's own bar. Cool low-key hang out on the weekends

It is what it is. College bar. Great place to watch a game. It's a big place with a huge, shady, open patio. Average bar food. If you're in the mood to throw down for the big game, I recommend it.

outdoor area is great so you're able to get away from the business of the inside. i recommend getting here early to grab a seat.

Where'd my money go?

We were drinking casually and next thing we woke up two blocks away without a phone and wallet... We are avid drinkers and aren't immature on getting home. More and likely drugged and scouted.. Don't go here! Unsafe without a doubt.

A pretty great place.

The service was great. The food was very good. The atmosphere is laid back . The music takes you back in time. It just great.

I'll start with this short compliment - hands down the best bacon-blue cheese burger in Kansas City - no lie. But I'll get back to the food in a minute. The wait staff is very good. They don't hover but are prompt and courteous. The food was brought to the table piping hot and fresh. A unique *plus* is the wonderful architecture. Mostly all wood in the style of an old-world western bar the place is fun! It is light and airy with a high ceiling and windows and mirrors giving a very pleasant atmosphere. But the food...yum. I mentioned the burger was excellent but I also had "tots." Great comfort food. Did I mention that the burger was great?! :-)Prices are fair - what one would expect for Westport and the friendly staff and superb food make it money well spent.

Moskow mule because I wanted to drink it out of a copper cup. Got plastic instead. Sigh
